Accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art & Design, Tennessee Tech University offers degrees in the following areas as well as Artist residency positions in craft disciplines and exhibitions. Bachelor of Fine Arts Concentrations Art Education Clay Design (Digital Media) Fibers Glass Metals Painting Wood A unique facet of the School of Art, Craft & Design is the Appalachian Center for Craft, a satellite campus located in Smithville, Tennessee, dedicated to promoting excellence in American craft by teaching both tradition and innovation in professional studio craft, and fostering access to the highest quality craft education, craft artists, craft works and events in a community arts context.
Local Information
The Appalachian Center for Craft is located on over 500 wooded acres overlooking Center Hill Lake in scenic Middle Tennessee.
