Program Description

Triangle offers free, spacious studios and a dynamic artistic community to support the development of projects with emphasis on dialogue and experimentation. Studio spaces with 24-hour access for periods of 3 months are available. Triangle's founding concept and current programs de-emphasize professionalization and specific outcomes, instead allowing artists generous space, context and community within which to focus on their ideas and process. Beyond workspace, regular gatherings, public events, open studios, and visits from curators are organized. Administrative and peer support is provided for all participating artists. Engaging in dialogue with your fellow Triangle artists is an important part of the residency. International and US-based artists or collectives working in any medium or discipline may apply. Residents are responsible for housing, travel, visa, materials, etc.
