-You must be 21 years old or older - WAL Residency are eligible to artists living 35-mile outside of Sacramento, California. - Verge Residency are eligible to artists living within a 35-mile radius of Sacramento.

We are accepting 4 visual artists: 2 WAL Residents and 2 Verge Residents. One for each cycle: October - December 2020 and January - March 2020

Program Description

We are accepting two Verge Residents and two WAL Residents. One WAL Resident and one Verge artist per 3-month cycle: October - December 2020 January - March 2020 Verge Residency is open to visual artists within a 35-mile radius of Sacramento. Artists receive: -studio work space at Verge Center for the Arts -$500 monthly stipend -participation in group show at Verge gallery -invited to participate in Verge programming WAL Residency is open to visual artists 35 miles outside of Sacramento. Artists receive: -furnished studio apartment at Warehouse Artist Lofts -studio work space at Verge Center for the Arts -$500 monthly stipend -participation in group show at Verge Gallery -invited to participate in Verge programming WAL is a mixed-use, transit-oriented community for Sacramento artists. Verge is a leading arts and culture institution in Sacramento. Artists with studio space have 24/7 access to their studio and regular access to risograph printer, screen printing, and ceramics studio.
