Program Description
Join Archipelago Folkschool co-directors Ben Wilde and Ruth Little for a week of embodied exploration and collaborative making on the beautiful isle of Mull. At the centre of the residency, led by Ben, we’ll build our standard Caravelle rowing boat from start to finish. Around this process, Ruth will initiate pathways of research and reflection on acts of ‘thresholding’, or working at the live edge between physical, social, ecological and disciplinary systems. To keep the costs as low as possible we are waiving our usual fees, just covering the organisation core costs and workshop hire - all of which means that we will expect everyone to help out with cooking, cleaning and keeping us on track
