Program Description

Studio Faire is an artist-run contemporary art space in South West France, providing residencies for visual artists, writers and all other types of creative practitioner. Residents live and work in the house, studios and gardens of Studio Faire, a ‘Maison de maître’ built in 1831 and still retaining its period characteristics. Its just a ten-minute walk to supermarkets, cafes, weekly farmer’s market, Château and riverside walk. This live/work space is in what we affectionately call The Usher Hall. It is a large room (679 x 460cm) allowing plenty of space for both working and sleeping. Ideal for all creative practitioners who working in quiet, non-messy media.
