Eligibility

Our residencies are open to families of artist focused on growth and community. We accept artists, musicians, writers, etc. If you define your work as art, we will gladly consider your application! We are looking for inspirational and uplifting, you create whatever that means to you! For our families with children: During the school year, our residencies work best for families who home school, or unschool. If you choose to try and use public schooling, that will be something for you to consider on your own. Your children are still your responsibility! While you are on our property, we will have many family nights and fun activities available for everyone, however your family is still your first priority! Please be mindful of your children, and ask that they be mindful of the space and other families around them. We accept families from all backgrounds and walks of life. We also expect our residency families to also keep an open mind as well.

Number of Participants

We are open to all family sizes, as long as you are comfortable living together in a tiny home structure with limited bedding. A family for us is two or more people that identify as a family and are already living together. Children and pets are welcome. No aggressive pets please, and a preventative damage waiver will be signed for all animals.

Program Description

We are building two living quarters and two full year residencies available for parents who are artists or writers in any genre who would like to stay with us rent free for a whole year! We hold the space for you to create for a whole year, giving you the opportunity to find your calling as artists and as families. You will feel at home with other artists focused families nuzzled in a tiny home community at the base of serene mountains, outside the art mecca of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Our residencies offer family fun nights, weekly artists meetings, and other exciting opportunities to share your work with other art lovers. Residency includes: Tiny home living space (animals are allowed with waiver) Community Creating space shared with other family residencies.
