Located in Havana’s city center, steps away from Havana University, Arthaus' space is open to artists and curators looking to immerse themselves in their work and research.  - Invitations to artist talks and workshops. - Access to a Spanish-English translator. - Transportation to and from Havana Airport for an extra fee.

Local Information

Arthaus' main goal is to facilitate the professional and artistic development of residents, and to foster international exchange for artists or curators. Our residents have the opportunity to live and work in our Colonial house, and to participate in a range of activities such as talks, meetings or studio visits. We organize monthly events and regularly coordinate collaborative art projects with our network of local artists and art spaces. Participants are encouraged to propose talks, workshops and to learn about Cuban sociocultural climate. Arthaus features an exhibition space with video projection capabilities, a private studio with private work space, and two private rooms with shared work space.
