ARTHAUS main goal is to facilitate professional/artistic development and international contacts for artists and curators looking for an immersive experience in their work and research. Our residents have the chance to live and work in a colonial house, and to participate in a range of activities such as talks, meetings, and studio visits. We organize monthly events, and regularly coordinate collaborative art projects with a vast network of local artists and art spaces. Participants are encouraged to propose talks and workshops, and to learn about the socio-cultural scenario in Cuba. The residency features one exhibition space with video projection capabilities, one private studio with private work space, and two private rooms with shared work space. Video shooting equipment and crew are also available to our residents. More info in our open calls here on Rivet.
