World of Co Artist Residency
Eligibility
This opportunity is open to artists of all ages, at any point in their career. Like visual artists, textile artists, media artists, multidisciplinary artists, photographers, graphic designers, illustrators, animators, fashion designers, jewellery designers, educators, video / film makers, from all around the world. Both new projects and projects that are in development but are not yet completed are eligible. World of Co is a multidisciplinary artist residency program, located in Sofia Bulgaria. The residency hosted more than 95 artists from different disciplines - from photographers and visual artists to poets, designers and curators. During their stay artist can develop projects and experiment with different techniques while discovering Bulgarian art and culture and collaborating with local and international creatives.

THE PROGRAM INCLUDES: Accommodation & Shared studio in one Two workshops Introduction to Bulgarian art & culture: From traditional to contemporary art (series of lectures) Bulgarian Chit-Chat language lessons Weekly group meetings Support with research and project execution Museum / Gallery visit Artists' talk – present your art to the local audience Sofia City Guide - a curated collection of contemporary galleries and museums, art stores, print shops and etc. Monthly list of art and culture events in Sofia Bulgarian SIM card
