Eligibility
Kooshk residency, established in mid-2014, is a non-profit space for arts and culture in Tehran. Kooshk provides a convenient space for artists, curators, researchers, writers and filmmakers to encourage inter-cultural dialogue and art creation. Kooshk welcomes and encourages qualified individuals from any discipline to contribute to the formation of this cultural movement by applying to use the facilities provided in Kooshk residences and studios. Participants in the Kooshk residency program can devote themselves to their art, exchange ideas and take part in the international exchange, partnership and awards programs while residing in a new country.
Number of Participants
Four shared rooms and four private rooms with appropriate amenities to accommodate 18 people at the same time with a private and shared bathroom.

Program Description
Kooshk offers direct applications for artists applying independently. In the case of direct applications, artists are required to go through the following process: ● Please state briefly why you would like to stay at Kooshk and tell us about your project and what you would like to achieve. Please include the dates you require. Email your proposal to info@kooshkresidency.com ● Once accepted, artists and curators are responsible for securing funding. We are happy to assist artists seeking grants by providing a letter of invitation in their own country. Financial support cannot be provided for the residency but we are happy to support your project with our knowledge, background information and networks. ● There is no deadline and the application review takes place once every month.
