Eligibility

We welcome enquiries from all artists, writers and makers. Residencies can be from one day to one month. Groups are welcome for Open Access residencies and courses, and student groups are particularly encouraged during Spring (March/April) and Autumn (October). Groups can undertake independent practice, or we can help tailor a programme of technical instruction. Please contact us if you are interested in bespoke group tuition.

Number of Participants

Spend time working on the development of your practice through a flexible Open Access residency. Offered on a ‘Production’ or ‘Research’ basis, Open Access is available to any artist, maker or individual wishing to develop a project, fabricate work or experiment. Production Open Access is supported by our technical team who will offer bespoke guidance and training as required to enable you to make use of our wood and metal workshops, ceramic workshop, foundry, wax and fabrication rooms. Research Open Access offers use of our bright and airy open plan studio, alongside our cosy library, for desk and studio based research and making. This programme runs alongside our other residency programmes and projects, offering space for crossover and dialogue with other artists on site.
