Program Description

This 6-night immersive retreat takes place from May 3–9, 2026, in Aljezur, Portugal, within a nature-based eco-retreat setting. Led by Kate Smith (The Embodied Voice©) and Olivia Preye (Voice Yoga), the program integrates voice work, somatic practices, mindfulness, and creative exploration. Daily sessions include morning meditation and voice-body warm-ups, Indian classical music-inspired singing practices, vocal improvisation, harmony singing, and workshops on voice-body integration and expressive movement. The approach combines technique with play, encouraging participants to release judgment and access authentic expression. Afternoons offer time for rest, reflection, or nature immersion, with access to forest trails, permaculture gardens, and wellness facilities such as sauna and natural swimming areas. A guided excursion to the Costa Vicentina is included. Accommodation and organic vegan meals are provided.
