Program Description
The Embodied Voice Practitioner Training is a non-residential 8-day immersive program held in Sintra, Portugal, combining voice, movement, and improvisation. Developed by Kate Smith, the training explores four core pillars: somatics and the singing body, expressive voice, vocal improvisation, and embodied leadership. The program includes online preparation sessions, in-person training, and a post-training integration call. Participants will gain tools for somatic awareness, creative expression, and trauma-informed facilitation, while deepening their body–voice connection in a supportive and exploratory environment. Participation is offered on a sliding scale to support accessibility: €1300 (equity rate), €1000 (standard rate), and €500 (supported places for local Portuguese practitioners). The fee includes all training sessions, online components, and selected meals, but does not cover travel or accommodation.
