Program Description
Stories shape how we see ourselves and the world around us. They carry memories, cultures, philosophies, values, and the experiences that connect generations. StoryScapes returns in 2026. This September and October, Studio 88 Artist Residency invites artists, writers, performers, filmmakers, improvisers, game designers, and interdisciplinary practitioners to explore storytelling in all its forms — from oral traditions and personal narratives to collaborative storytelling, improvised theatre, and storytelling games. We are interested in stories not simply as things we tell, but as things we inherit, reshape, and pass on. Join an international community of creative practitioners for a residency focused on reflection, exchange, experimentation, and new possibilities. Applications are now open.
