Eligibility
-Post-graduate in a related field of study or equivalent experience -New media and interdisciplinary artists encouraged to apply
Number of Participants
Maracuyá hosts self-directed artists and teams for 1-6 week residencies year-round (except the month of June). We accept applications for self-directed residencies on a rolling basis, up to 2 months in advance of the accepted artists' proposed residency dates. Application Procedure: Individual artists, partners, or teams of up to 6 can apply by emailing the following information to info@lamaracuya.com: Please send as 1 PDF to info@lamaracuya.com the following: Name Address Date and Country of Birth City and Country of Current Residence Email, Phone Number, and Skype Username Preferred Dates and Duration CV and Website Portfolio (no more than 3–5 works; the number of images for each work is not limited, include links to videos with stills in pdf) Biography (up to 200 words) Reasons for Applying (up to 400 words) Project Name and Description (up to 800 words)

Program Description
Accepted self-directed residency artists will be hosted in Maracuyá's residency lofts on a rolling basis throughout the year. Curatorial support, professional development advice and other residency resources will be open to self-directed artists, as well as social networking and exhibition opportunities with local groups. Projects developed through this residency option will be considered for features on Maracuyá's website and future publications. Additionally, all residents will have access to Maracuyás growing network of established resident alumni.
