About

Holes in the Wall Collective holds space for creative research, reflection & action. We bring people ideas and materials together across fields and identities, revaluing creativity as the best remediator for the future. We are interested in the public benefit of poking holes in the wall of what is known in order to make opportunities for what there could be. We do this through messaging campaigns, multi-disciplinary happenings and creative residency programs. Holes in the Wall Collective started 6 years ago as an experiment. Since then, we have directly served roughly 5000 people with our programming, partnering with over 50 organizations and collaborating artists along the way. We’re a connector. We connect people and their ideas. We’re a container. We’re like the pot to make soup. We’re a catalyst.
 We potentize creativity.

Local Information

Holes in the Wall Collective does public programming in NYC through events, conversations and happenings. For four years we were in partnership with the Industry City Distillery (pre IC) and ran a creative residency program in rural PA from 2015-2017. Currently we are holding remote residencies, supporting a different nonprofit each month through our CSA program and are working to acquire land in the Catskill region of NY to build a Center for Creative Research, Reflection and Action.
