Program Description

Holes in the Wall Collective invites you to spend 360 minutes in an unlikely residency space somewhere in the five boroughs of NYC. An office, a workshop, a grocery isle, the recycling plant... to leave your routine for One Day. Six hours. 360 minutes. To work creatively on a project. Something you are writing, researching, creating, observing. At any part of your process. How it works: You apply. If accepted, we match you (and your work) to a residency space somewhere in NYC. We confirm the date. We give you 6 hours, coffee and an introduction with your space. Sometime during your residency, you give us one blog post that says something about your 360 minutes. An image, a haiku, a paragraph, an animation. We then host a public event at the end of the year to bring together all the residents & their work. It’s free to apply and to participate. Residencies held on select Saturdays & Wednesdays starting in May. apply at https://www.holesinthewallcollective.org/360-residency
