It is common to have toucans, Scarlett macaws, monkey's, coati's, and sloths pass through. Our yard is filled with edible fruits like plantains, papaya, and lemons. We have a working greenhouse and grow fruits, veggies and herbs on site for tea and to use in our meals. You can help yourself! We have lemongrass, mint, stevia, holy and purple basil to name a few. There is a library of books at the Residency to learn about permaculture, sustainability, and Costa Rican wildlife and plants.
