Program Description

Artspace invites emerging and mid-career artists from all fields to apply for our one year Artist-in-Residence program. The Residency will begin August 1, 2020 and end July 31, 2021. Artspace will provide one year of studio space and the residencies will culminate in a solo exhibition of the work creating during the year.  In exchange for our support of your work, we ask that you contribute to the Artspace team by working the equivalent of 10 hours/ month, or 120 hours over the course of your time with us. Duties will reflect the capacities, areas of interest and expertise of each Artist-in-Residence, but may include: assisting with installations, gallery sitting, staffing an opening reception or event and/or helping to organize our archives.
