Eligibility

We warmly invite all musicians, sound artists, sound engineers and artists from other disciplines that wish to develop a project specifically related to sound to participate in Activosonico-Experimental Sound Residencies, with a focus on the relationship of sound and territory. Proposals will be selected based on their fit to the program guidelines.

Number of Participants

The program holds up to 6 projects per month. You can apply as a collective if working on the same project and sharing the same studio and accommodation. Bear in mind that the fee can vary according to the number of participants.

Program Description

Activosonico residencies will take part in Centro Negra, the current headquarters of AADK Spain located in the town of Blanca, Murcia. They have been conceived to offer time and space for analysis and artistic research linked to music and sound, encouraging reflection upon the historical, cultural and geographical context of the region. For those applicants interested in working with the community of Blanca, please bear in mind that projects of less than two months will not be accepted. The ability of artists to establish respectful relationships with the inhabitants and to be willing to engage in trial-error processes will be fundamental for these proposals.
