Eligibility

Open to Artists Working in any and all medium, writers, poets, visual artists and video and filmmakers, dancers, you name it.

Number of Participants

This residency is open to artists, artist couples, artists and their families, and even a small collective that could live in a three-bedroom house.

Program Description

Artists will spend a month (SEPTEMBER) on the Big Island in Hawaii, Close by but not in the Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park. Applications Due: May 1st, 2019
10 Finalist Selections Date: May 15th, 2019
 Finalists’ Round Deadline: June 15th, 2019 Winner Announcement: July 1st, 2019 Artist in Residence Term: September 4th-29th, 2019 Public Programming (Lecture/workshop/presentation): TBA If you are contacted as a finalist & if our panelists feel that further detail is needed for the application — finalists will be asked to submit the required materials (such as a detailed proposal, etc) APPLICATION FEES are $55 for single artists and $110 for Artist Couples and $150 for groups or collectives
