Program Description

AZAN residency program aims to welcome artists and introduce them to the Lisbon art scene with the feeling of a shared studio where artists can collaborate, share ideas and develop their work and research. Dialogue and experimentation are encouraged and projects related to the studio and its surroundings are welcomed. Our team will work with each resident in a supportive environment providing curatorial and production support. We can provide information about openings, art events and suppliers, maximizing the exposure of each resident in the city. Residents are encouraged to organize a talk, a work presentation, a happening, a pop-up exhibition during their stay and participate in the zines project. All the events are organized between the artist and AZAN team, in a case-by-case basis. General . Shared studio, kitchen and bathroom . Informal and welcoming atmosphere .
