Eligibility
• Designs should communicate "giving thanks" or "gratitude" to our healthcare workers. • Submit designs in a 4w x 5h (portrait) or 5w x 4h (landscape) ratio. • InDesign, tiff, jpg, or pdf are be acceptable file formats. (files size: at least 300 dpi at 16 x 20” size.) • Open from: April 20 – May 31, 2020 • This is an open and voluntary submission – we do not have an honorarium available. • Upon submission, artists give NYC Health + Hospitals the right to print and reproduce the artwork. • Artist name will credited on all print reproductions of the artwork. • Submit up to 10 designs
Number of Participants
By submitting my artwork, I give permission to NYC Health + Hospitals, hereinafter known as the “Health + Hospitals,” to use my artwork and images of my artwork for use in Health + Hospitals publications including, but not limited to: Posters, Cards, General Publications, Website, Emails, and/or Affiliates. I hereby waive any right to review or approve the finished photographs or electronic matter that may be used together now or in the future, whether that use is known to me or not, and I waive any right to royalties or other payment arising from or related to the use of the image. NYC Health + Hospitals will credit the creator of the artwork whenever possible.

Program Description
NYC Health + Hospitals Arts in Medicine recognize the arts as one of the most powerful means for communication, connection, and coping we have at our disposal today. Here at NYC Health + Hospitals, our staff are working tirelessly on the front lines of the COVID-19 crisis, and the Arts in Medicine department would like help from our artist community to help give thanks. We will print these designs as posters, flyers, and cards distributed across our system; and use the digital files on screensavers and emails to our staff. Thank you in advance for your creative support of our healthcare professionals. Your designs are sure to bring connection, inspiration, and gratitude to our staff.
