Eligibility

Artists from all artistic disciplines (installation, videoart, sculpture, electronic music, painting, drawing, performance, photography, net art etc.) are invited to send us an application. The artist should be open minded and interested in the local art scene. we do two group shows in one period, they are not obligatory but in the interest of the artist, to increase their visibility.

Program Description

"PILOTENKUECHE" is an international art program based in Leipzig, Germany. The independent project is organized by transdiciplinary artists. The program invites artists from around the world work in the fully remodeled space for a period of three months. Each accepted artist is offered a partial stipend, provided by ‘PILOTENKUECHE’. In a group of around eleven participants, a stimulating dialogue becomes vital in fostering an independent position in one's work. We re looking for artists to participate in our program from July – September 2020. the program consists of: • Program activities referring to the interests of the artists • studio visits • guest critiques • galeries and museum tours • contact to the local art scene • contact to the cities cultural scene • two exhibitions in interesting venues
