Program Description

Production Residency: Intended to produce new work, a project or a site-specific installation with the possibility to show the finished work at the end of the stay. Open to all kind of projects, encouraging those that question the singularity of the art object by using the reproducible capacity of printmaking, photography, new media, design and/or their interfaces, blurring their boundaries. Exploration Residency: Aimed for independent research proposals (even when they will have revisions and tutorials from ‘ace team) in any discipline of visual arts, performing, design, writing or curating, all while emphasising the process. Micro-residency: Focused on achieving important results or embracing new explorations in a short period of time, they offer moments of knowledge exchange between the resident and the hosting organisation. Mainly aimed to finish or deepen projects/ideas/works in process or to make the preliminary work of a new project.
