Eligibility

BFA or MFA encouraged, or equivalent experience (residencies, apprenticeships, internships, or other non-traditional education experiences). Residencies are granted based on quality of work, community-mindedness, and experience. Residents teach a variety of classes to all age levels, so experience teaching and artists with more than one area of expertise are preferred.

Program Description

The LUX Center for the Arts is a non-profit in Lincoln, NE looking for artists to apply for our Artist in Residence program. Up to 2 positions are currently available. A strong desire to teach is required, and experience teaching, at any level, is highly encouraged. This residency lasts 1 year and can be extended for a 2nd year.
