Program Description

Each selected participant receives the time and space to further their artistic practice with the expert support of our advisers, the curator/resident liaison, the departments of Nature Research and Education & Development, as well as the library and the labs – Photography & Audiovisual, Material Matters, Food, Printing & Publishing, and Future Materials. Participants not only work in their individual trajectories but also develop themselves in relation to their peers. During the residency, they share their stories and their practices. It is in the convergence of these worlds where one truly gets to understand and support one another, where new ideas sprout, and interdisciplinary collaborations begin. Participants can get actively involved in institutional (public) programmes where speculative concepts are tested and the pressing socio-environmental challenges of today are debated.
