Program Description

Last minute call for entries and open invitation to travel photographers visiting the area into participate in our november 2023 mini residency program into focus on the famous DAY OF THE DEAD celebration which takes place all over Mexico from Nov 1 to Nov 3, being Tulum no exception. To be able to incorporate a narrative element into which ever personal format or approach to the subject; into display the present manifestation of a prehispanic tradition deeply rooted in Mexico´s people heritage, versus its resonance in shape of mediatic rituals as an effect of global cultural appropriation. Limited to one participant. Private room on shared facilities house. Cooking and hosting by mexican organizers.
