Eligibility

Must be a minimum of 18 years of age, capable of traveling, and have pre-professional and/or professional experience in dance. This workshop is more contemporary-movement based, although we welcome all styles.

Program Description

A one week choreographic intensive with Janis Brenner exploring Solo, Duet, and Group Improvisations leading into Solo and Duet Choreography. Includes daily warm-up class, choreographic tools, daily rehearsals and a final showcase Janis Brenner, an internationally-acclaimed dancer/choreographer/singer/educator and Artistic Director of Janis Brenner & Dancers in NYC, has toured in 36 countries, and teaches Improvisation, Composition/Choreography, Voice/Interdisciplinary work, and JB Repertory worldwide.
