Eligibility

The Lab Program: Art-Research & Mobility Network in Mexico City is currently accepting applications for a cross-disciplinary lab which will be developed during the months of February & March, 2020 This laboratory will take the phenomenon of the megalopolis in central México as a case study: a place where hybridity, mobile architecture and blurred cultural and spatial boundaries are part of everyday life. The lab will invite 8 researchers from different artistic backgrounds and disciplines to develop this investigation. As a starting point we will explore a number of sites based on the research interests of the applicants. This process will allow participants to develop an understanding of the geographical and cultural terrain of the megalopolis, and to situate their own practices within the context of México.
