Tangent Projects
Eligibility
Open to all artists at all stages in their career. We welcome applications from national and international artists, however, any visa requirements must be organised by the successful candidates. We encourage applications from artists/creatives working in all different media, we do not limit the type of work accepted and are open to interesting ideas and suggestions, within the realm of our capabilities. All applicants must be adults, over the age of 18. To apply please send, to info@tangent-projects.com, a single pdf including: -A statement on what you wish to achieve at Tangent Projects (max 500 words), -A brief biography (max 300 words) -Images (max 5 images) -Relevant website/video/social media links IMPORTANT - any applications that don't follow this format will not be accepted.
Number of Participants
Tangent Projects Studios Artist in Residence Programme is open to 1 - 3 artists/creatives using the same studio space. Any groups (of up to 3 people), must submit a joint application. The fee of €120 per month is for an individual resident.

Program Description
As a not-for-profit cultural association Tangent Projects is artist-driven and focused. We provide fair-priced, comfortable studio spaces for artists to work in a creative and dynamic environment whilst also connecting and engaging with others working in the arts - both locally and globally. We offer: - A studio with 24-hour access, for 3-6 months. - Comfortable communal spaces for relaxing and meeting with other artists, curators, gallerists etc. - A community of friendly international artists. - Open studio, if desired. - Screenings of moving image works. - Artist talks/presentations. - On hand curatorial support. - An onsite gallery with an exciting and expansive schedule. Important - Travel, visa, accommodation and living expenses must be organised by the successful applicants. We can supply acceptance letters for funding applications (in English or Spanish) and can offer suggestions for accommodation.
