Program Description

The residency takes place at Centro Negra, AADK Spain’s headquarters in Blanca (Murcia), a unique site where landscape, architecture, and memory converge. Selected residents will be invited to investigate the notion of the trace as a space of transition—between what persists and what disappears. The program offers curatorial guidance, access to shared workspaces, and opportunities for public presentation and documentation. Residencies last a minimum of one month and maximum six months, with flexible scheduling throughout 2026. Accommodation in a shared house and utilities are included (€1000/month). A private apartment can be arranged for an additional €300. Each participant will receive an invitation letter to support external grant applications. The program aims to foster experimentation, critical dialogue, and new ways of inhabiting the territory.
