Program Description

Come to magical Costa Rica and be inspired and renewed! Our Eco-Conscious Artist Residency is on 1.5 acres in the beautiful Costa Rican jungle with a stream running through the lower half of the property. You will be surrounded by dozens of different species of birds, butterflies, and insects, flowers and plants. It is common to have toucans, Scarlett macaws, monkey's, coati's, and sloths pass through. Our yard is filled with edible fruits like plantains, papaya, and lemons. We have a working greenhouse and grow fruits, veggies and herbs on site for tea and to use in our meals. You can help yourself! We have lemongrass, mint, stevia, holy and purple basil to name a few.  There is a library of books at the Residency to learn about permaculture, sustainability, and Costa Rican wildlife and plants.
