Program Description

Rosa di Tufo is the ancestral home of the DeVito family, recently converted into a Bed and Breakfast. We offer reduced rates for artists in the form of a residency--$150 per week, or $550 per month. This residency is truly remote--not only is Tufo seated in a rural area of Southern Italy, the house itself is internet-free. (There is a 24-hour cafe down the street that offers wifi for free and espressos for eighty cents.) As Tufo is a small town (pop. ~1,000), its residents won't miss you. They are generally welcoming to artists, and will often engage with you in town and, sometimes, invite you to enormous, late dinners. Inquiries to program director Patrick DeVito McNeil at rosaditufo@gmail.com.
