Vermont Studio Center (VSC) is thrilled to announce 50+ new residency fellowships to be awarded at our June 15th, 2019 deadline. All applicants will be automatically considered for one of twenty-five (25) VSC Fellowships, which are merit-based awards open to ALL artists and writers living and working anywhere in the world. We also have a number of special awards (many with stipends). The Vermont Studio Center is a vibrant, diverse community of artists situated in Vermont's northern Green Mountains. Each month we welcome more than 50 writers and visual artists from across the country and around the globe to our historic campus along the Gihon River in the town of Johnson, Vermont. Residencies range from 2 to 12 weeks and offer residents unrestricted time for creative work, along with daily opportunities to engage with fellow artists. Our monthly program includes slide nights, readings, open studios, gallery openings, and optional studio visits and conferences with our Visiting Artists and Writers. Admission is competitive and based on a review of your portfolio or manuscript.
