Program Description

Cassis AIR is situated in the city of Cassis, a picturesque village next to the Calanques National Park. Surrounded by breathtaking landscapes, the place is a perfect retreat for artists who need to take a pause from their everyday routine. Artists can choose the period of their stay (from 2 weeks to 2 months), as well as the projects to work on during the residency. We're open to receive artists collectives. Paid by artist: Travel /Art supplies and materials /Food (we have a kitchen and all necessary to cook)/Fee 60€-80€ per week (depends on the room). Expectations from the artist: Residents are free to work on any ongoing or new project of their choice; Presentation of your work / artist-talk / concert /performance (depending on the field of work); Active participation in group discussions and critique sessions; Collaborations between artists; Donations to the residency art collection are welcome
