Program Description

The week-long residency will result in an exhibition in the Garage Gallery Karlín from 1 August until 1 September 2019. Themes and concepts of the proposals are free and open to various education programmes, workshops and other special events accompanying the residency and/or the exhibition. Selected participants will be offered a flat and a studio in the GGK area from 1 July until 3 August 2019 and receive a financial aid of 810 EUR as well as technical, curatorial and production support. Deadline for submissions: 9 June 2019 Please submit your applications at info@gallerykarlin.com with the subject: "OPEN CALL 2019". The application must include your portfolio, CV and a description of your proposed project. A panel of judges from the Garage Gallery Karlín and the professional public will give their decision on 12 June 2019. The panel is not obliged to provide any feedback to rejected projects, the decision is final and cannot be appealed.
