Program Description
Mini summer residencies available dates: Monday 5th August - Sunday 1st September Either as 1 week / 2 weeks / 1 month slots Residency periods begin on Mondays and end on Sundays Costs to the artist: £100/£150/£200 Back Lane West is a not for profit artist-led space in Redruth, which provides residency space to test and develop new work, for contemporary artists at any stage of their career. During August 2019 we’re open for short residencies, which we would suggest might best suit locally based artists looking for additional short term space. Resident artists will have access to a small resource space with wifi, books and magazines, A3 printing facilities, a basic tool kit and projector. If artists decide to open the space to the public during their residency period, support for marketing and publicity can be provided by the Back Lane West team. However this is not a requirement and we encourage short summer residencies to be used as private development time.
