-Admission is based on review of portfolio or manuscript (see Apply section on website) -Facility is for adults only.

Number of Participants

The Residency program is intended for individuals, usually accommodating four artists at a time; collaborating spouses and partners with prior approval. Monte Azul Center for the Arts offers 4 individual casitas. All come with a private bath, kitchenette & private work area. Casitas can accommodate a maximum of two people with prior approval and an additional fee. ​

Monte Azul Center for the Arts caters to artists in a number of disciplines & practices. We offer an inclusive residency program, where diversity is a creative advantage Example practices: Printmaking, Painting, Photography, Writing, Mixed Media and Screen Printing, as well as private studio visits and discussion.
