Program Description
JULY 13, 14, 15, 16 & 17 10:30am-3:30pm Copy from a 19th century academic figure drawing with master draftsman and ARC living master Gilberto Geraldo from the comfort of your own home. Gilberto is a Brazilian born artist who has studied at both the V.A. Surikov Institute Moscow and the I.E. Repin State Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture in St. Petersburg, Russia. He currently lives and works in St. Petersburg, but has been traveling internationally to instruct workshops. This workshop will be a four day online intensive consisting of pre-recorded videos as well as live Zoom meeting to discuss and critique work. Students will thoroughly study human anatomy, perspective, and tactile approaches to analyzing form. This workshop is unique in that it will be offered in 4 languages: English, Portuguese, Russian and Chinese. All pre-recorded materials will have proper sub-titles and translators will be present during live Zoom meetings.
