Program Description

Can Serrat is a creative space, that welcomes community and process. As such, the activities we organize are oriented around this idea and reflect an interest in being present in that process, research, question, doubt, understanding, curiosity, and debate. The residency program supports writers and artistic production, offering individual support and resources to each resident according to their needs. The call is open to all topics and mediums. Selected residents will have time and space to work on their own projects while residing in Can Serrat. We make an effort to organize activities that promote dialog and community between residents, the local environment and the local cultural scene. These activities are currently subject to local health and safety regulations. For 2022, the full grants that Can Serrat will award will be good for up to 5 months.
