Eligibility

- Residencies are intended as professional development opportunities for writers, visual artists, performance musicians and composers in all fields and genres. - Proposals for self-directed, creative residencies must be compatible with available working studio spaces, facilities, and resources. Artistic merit and promise are basis for selections. - Both established and emerging artists are encouraged to apply. Any person over the age of 18 is eligible. - English language skills are required.

Number of Participants

Brush Creek Foundation for the Arts in Saratoga, Wyoming, accommodates up to eight residents at a time for three-week residencies throughout the Summer/Fall season.

Program Description

Literary artists, visual artists, performance artists, musicians and composers are encouraged to apply for our three week artist residency programs, complete with lodging, meals, private studios provided while surrounded by the incredible natural beauty of the Rocky Mountains. Residents are at liberty to structure their own time and activity while on a creative retreat. Whether solitude or social engagement is inspiring, the opportunities for creative enrichment are endless at Brush Creek Foundation for the Arts.
