Eligibility

I. This program is planned for non-Taiwanese citizen. II. Applicants must have a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience of professional art practice. Undergraduate students are not eligible to apply. III. Applicants who have already participated in AIR Taipei in 2019 and 2020 are not eligible to apply. IV. Applicants may only apply once in the same year. Applicants who submit both individual and group applications will not be considered. V. Applicants must have a working knowledge of English or Mandarin Chinese. VI. Applicants can be either individual artists or artistic groups with maximum 4 members. Members of a group are not replaceable and shall provide previous collaboration work samples and each member’s CV. VII. The selected artists are requested to work and live independently. AIR Taipei has two residency locations, Taipei Artist Village (TAV) and Treasure Hill Artist Village (THAV).

Program Description

AIR Taipei has two residency locations, Taipei Artist Village (TAV) and Treasure Hill Artist Village (THAV). Each residency project must be designed for and relevant to one specific artist village, responding to the individuality of the site. Each selected artist will be provided with one free live-work studio space, project support and coordination. Each selected artistic group of Treasure Hill Artist Village will be provided with maximum two free accommodations/studios.
