Eligibility
Petrohradská kolektiv (hereinafter "P.K.") accepts applications from artists of all ages, media and backgrounds. Previous education isn't key. We seek projects of significant artistic value and topicality. Participation requires communication skills in English or in Czech. Each resident is obligated to prepare a final report of their stay including a photo documentation. Participants of the AiR program of P.K. are required to spend at least 75% of the duration of their stay in the place of the residency. The stays include an author’s presentation (or its online equivalent) and an exhibition output or else. The residency must be completed within the specified period and it is not possible to interrupt it. Because of the current pandemic, the residency is conditioned by submitting a certificate of vaccination against Covid-19 and a certificate of testing for Covid-19 with a negative result. The costs of the vaccination and the test are not covered by P.K.
Number of Participants
Each applicant can only submit one project for the AiR at P.K. This Open Call is primarily meant for individual artists who want to develop their projects and showcase them to the public, yet we also accept applications from artistic duos and collectives of more than 1 person. In the case of acceptance, the submitted application is considered one project, therefore the budget for such project will be the same as for projects submitted by individuals.

Program Description
AiR @P.K. is an opportunity for independent professional development, artistic exchange, and experiments. The residency duration is 4-6 weeks. We are looking for artists who want to explore Prague's contemporary art scene. The platform of P.K. offers networking with local and foreign artists, musicians and theoreticians based in Prague and diverse cultural programs. The resulting artistic outcomes of the residencies will be showcased in Jedna Dva Tři Gallery at the P.K. complex. The main theme of the exhibition program for 2022 is Transformation, therefore we are asking ask the applicants to take this into account when applying with their projects. The residency includes: - Accommodation and a studio in the P.K. complex - Covering the travel and material costs (up to 200€) - Technical support and consultation - Exhibition in Jedna Dva Tři Gallery (or an alternative) - Free entrance to all the events organized by P.K.
