Eligibility

Residency is open to all disciplines, ages and skill levels. We are looking for participants who are interested in African culture and art where they can interact with Ghanaian creatives and find inspiration in a new culture.

Number of Participants

Our residency is held at our cultural center/guest house which has 6 bedrooms with 2 beds in each room so we can accommodate up to 12 people in each program. If there is a larger group we can add a bed or 2 to each room.

Program Description

This is an opportunity to explore a culture unlike your own. Interesting things happen when you are in a new environment. The residency is held at our guest house/cultural center in a Ghanaian fishing village. Workshop area is on our roof top. We include a tour of our village for inspiration, a day in Accra to experience cultural attractions and a large outdoor market, and a day trip to a traditional crafts village. This program is for people who want to interact on a personal level with our Ghanaian friends and neighbors.Who want to make connections with artists from different cultures.Our residency is not a competition. It is a way to connect with creatives and exchange ideas.
