Eligibility

- BAR Basque Artist Residency is aimed at artists of any nationality (except Spanish) who can reside for at least 45 days in the Basque Country (Spain / France). - In particular for artists who have not had any prior contact with the Basque Country, without age limit. In case the application is made as a collective, the aid shall be granted to a single member of the group.

Number of Participants

Due to its characteristics, this program is designed to accommodate a single person in residence. In case the selected artist wishes to travel and reside accompanied (collaborators, couples or minors in their charge), he/she will have to assume the extra expenses that this fact may cause.

Program Description

This call aims to create a critical framework in which international artists offers their vision of the Basque context, as a result of an artistic project. It is intended for artists of any nationality (not residing in Spain) who wish to stay in the Bidasoaldea region.
