Registration is completely free and online. Arthaus accepts both feature and short films in every genre, on any topic from every country around the world. All applicants who own the rights to the works they present can submit a film. To apply, send us your CV, film’s dossier and a video link of your work to firstname.lastname@example.org If accepted we will request you send a digital copy for screening via Wetransfer, Dropbox or similar. Arthaus does not impose any restriction on the exclusivity of the submitted work. It may have been premiered or participated in other contests, festivals or screenings, be available online, etc. We do not disqualify any films based on premiere status or date of completion. Each applicant can submit as many films as desired. We strongly recommend that films that are not in Spanish or English have subtitles in Spanish or English.

Open call deadline is November 15, 2019. The Program will take place during 3 days on the first week of December 2019, collateral to the 41st Havana Film Festival. Arthaus has hosted this event since 2016. Arthaus Residency fosters artistic creation and experimentation from a Colonial house in Havana, Cuba. The creators of the selected films are committed to facilitate stills, posters, promotional material and, as far as possible, interviews and news for the promotion and dissemination of films. Selected films will be exhibited at Arthaus. Please note that Arthaus Winter Program is a public event running parallel to 41st Havana Film Festival program, and is not part of the Festival’s official programming. 5. Confidentiality commitment: we use the material sent only with the purpose of making a selection for the Winter Film Program. 6. Commitment of vision: we are committed to viewing all submitted works. 7. Commitment of communication: we undertake to communicate the result of the selection to both selected and unselected applicants.
