Program Description

Onassis AiR invites creative practitioners from any medium of expression or discipline, from anywhere in the world, to apply for a residency in Athens, Greece, between September 2025 to July 2026. For 2025/26, the program enhances its function as an instigator of creative experimentation offering opportunities on four different strands: The Onassis AiR Extended Research Residencies, Onassis AiR Dramaturgy Fellowships, Onassis AiR/ONX Fellowships and Onassis AiR Technical Residencies. Selected participants will receive an artist’s fee, a research/production budget, housing, travel to/from Athens, a collective budget for group site-visits and research trips, opportunities to engage with the art scene of Athens through networking events and professional development activities as well as access to mentoring and audiovisual equipment. Participants are encouraged to contribute to the Οnassis AiR Community through a workshop, screening, or any other format of their choice.
