Eligibility

Ha.aH art space invites international artists to apply for our April 2025 residency program centered around the theme "Velocity: Techno-Information". Individual artists or groups may apply. Applicants must be over eighteen years old and able to present 2 years of previous work. Program Focus Our goal is to advance the selected artists’ professional development. Artists in residence will produce their work over 1 month, culminating with a collective exhibition. Participants are encouraged to engage with local art professionals, propose talks and workshops, and delve into Barcelona's rich socio-cultural environment. Residency Highlights - Develop and produce work in response to the residency theme. - Collaborate with peers and local creatives through curated workshops, critiques, and talks. - Showcase your work in a collective exhibition event at Ha.aH. - Access Ha.aH’s extensive local art network. Number of Participants

Up to eight local and international artists will be selected to participate in the program. What We Provide - 1 months of technical support and workspace equipped with tools and resources. - Collective Exhibition - Portfolio reviews and curatorial guidance from residency coordinators and guest professionals. - Invitations to participate in seminars, studio visits, and cultural outings. - Daily snacks and beverages. - Monthly Transportation Card. - Tailored assistance during your stay in Barcelona. - Spanish-English translator. Ha.aH Art Space - Exhibition Space: 180m² with video projection capabilities. - Work Space: 50m² with shared tools, tables, and chairs. - Meeting Room: 20m² private area. - Amenities: Kitchen, bathrooms, framing tools and art storage. Program Description

Application Guidelines Interested artists should send a PDF document to spacehaah@gmail.com, including: - Proposal: Outline your project, including its relevance to the theme Velocidad: Tecno Información, materials, and technical requirements. - Portfolio/CV: Highlight relevant experience and past works, including links to digital portfolios or videos. - Passport Scan: Ensure your passport is valid for three months beyond the residency period. Program Fee: 1000 EUR per participant This fee includes workspace access, technical support, and programming. Travel, accommodation, and daily expenses are not included.
