Program Description

Artspace gallery invites artists to submit their work for a juried exhibition taking place in Fall 2024. The guest juror is esteemed art historian, Sue Taylor, who will be working in collaboration with ACLO’s Curator & Program Manager. The exhibition will be on view at Artspace from September 6, 2024-October 25, 2024. Artspace will consider works of all media including photographs, prints, paintings, video art, sculpture and installation works. Up to 3 works from each participating artist will be curated into Artspace. Artwork may relate to the concept of a ‘center’. The center may be understood as the point in which all attention is focused, where activity flows outward. The center may also be understood in terms of an axis, a core, and a spine. This theme may be abstractly interpreted, or the theme may be more directly visible in the artwork. Artists will receive 70% of the sale of their work. Three cash awards will be granted.
