Program Description
Our lofty studios with 9.5 ft high ceilings, are being offered at fantastic below-market-rates, each with at least one window, some with Bronx River views and great lighting all day long. Access to workspaces are daily from 10am-10pm on weekdays, 10am-6pm on Saturdays and 10am-5pm on Sundays for one year, with a second-year renewal option. These non-living studios, in an open plan vary in size from 250 to 400 sq ft. Due to the financial and health related hardships of the COVID-19 Pandemic, BRAC is offering a 15% discount on our already below-market-value rates for the first 6 months that range in price from $360 - $470, down from $425 - $550 a month. Artists will have the opportunity to present their work to curators and critics, and to be exposed to a broader general audience during exhibition openings and an annual open studio event. Residency participants will be encouraged to engage with students and community-program participants throughout the year.
